A couple of points I want to emphasize about how sending cards works, because they're so important when it comes to considering the use of custom greeting cards for your small business marketing...
Sending a card costs just over a dollar (including postage). By the way, if you live outside the US, but want to mail to customers within the US, your postage costs are only local US postal rates, as all cards are mailed from Salt Lake City, Utah, in the US.
It's a timesaver. You'll be sending cards right from your computer... that means you don't have to leave your office to go card shopping or run to the post office.
You can add a personal touch to your cards with your own unique handwriting font.
You can create your own custom greeting cards by uploading your own graphics.
The Details on How Sending Cards Works...
Sending a card over the Internet is so easy anyone can learn to do it. But you DO need a free gift account to try out the system for yourself, so be sure you get yours here.
Your gift account will include some points and postage so that you can send a couple of cards to people you want to reach out and touch, whether customers or family or friends... it's totally up to you.
Here are the steps I'll walk you through to show you how sending out cards with this system works...
Step One. First, we'll get you logged in and enter your contact information into your account database. This is the information that will be in the return address section on the envelope of every card you send. So each card looks as though it was personally mailed by you.
Step Two. Now it's time to enter the information for the person(s) you're sending to. You'll enter their name, address, and even birthday or anniversary dates, if desired. Our card program can even set up email reminders for you, to notify you a week in advance when a card is due. Once you have a full account, you can even import your contacts all at once from Outlook, Excel, or other contact databases. You'll also be able to set up what are known as "mail campaigns," where you can mail to your entire contact list (or a subset of it), for instance at holidays.
Step Three. Next, you'll choose the card you want to send. You can choose to send either a postcard or a regular greeting card from over 30 categories and 12,000 cards to find the one that is right for your needs. As noted above, you can even create custom greeting cards, perhaps with your picture or a picture of your business?
Step Four. Once you have your card chosen, you're ready to write a personal message. Cards do come with prewritten messages, but you can substitute your own or add to the canned copy. You'll also be able to choose from a variety of different font styles and font colors. When you have a full account, you can even get a custom handwriting font in your own handwriting!
Step Five. If you like, you can even add a gift or token of appreciation. We offer gift cards from many chain stores and popular restaurants. But that's not all... Just look at all the different gifts you can include!
Step Six. Next, you can preview your card and edit anything you want to change.
Step Seven. All that's left is to send the card! Our card company will customize your card according to your choices, print it, address the envelope and insert the card, add a real stamp and send it by the next business day. It should arrive at its destination within a few days. Nothing could be easier.
